PRODECOOP is a cooperative of over 2,300 small-scale coffee farmers in the northern Nicaraguan departments of Estelí, Madriz, and Nueva Segovia. The coffee is initially processed on the individual farms, and then sun-dried and final processed at the coop's dry mill in Palacaguina. PRODECOOP carefully supervises all phases of the coffee production and processing to ensure strict quality control. The coop has spent the last few years identifying and marketing its best coffees to improve the economic status of all its members. The coop's families are proud to offer these excellent, high-quality coffees as an example of their hard work and dedication.
